Carter Holt Harvey recently engaged designers Platform Consulting to overhaul their Onehunga Auckland premises. The company sought to achieve two goals: reduce physical space while enhancing workplace functionality and aesthetics. They envisioned a modern office that boosts productivity and supports employee well-being, incorporating contemporary design, upgraded technology, and flexible spaces for both collaboration and individual work. Zenith provided a range of workstations and seating to support their vision.

For independent focused-work areas, Carter Holt Harvey chose Orbis for its streamlined modern aesthetic. Zenith’s Orbis workstations are customisable to individual height requirements, helping combat muscle inactivity and increase circulation. Some Orbis workstations were accented with Precinct screens; a soft frameless screen solution, Precinct creates defined workspaces, but still supports an open-plan collaborative environment.

Zenith’s Jac is a stylish and versatile commercial chair, ideal for the modern workspace. Its sculpted design supports the natural contours of the body while offering a minimalist profile that fits seamlessly across myriad work settings. Carter Holt Harvey chose the Jac sled stool and sled chair for their breakout areas for its utility and durability. Additionally, Jac is a highly sustainable option, with a tree being planted for every Jac purchased through Zenith’s ‘One Tree Planted’ initiative.

Indispensable to a collaborative workspace is the Kissen Table range. With an omni-fold top option, Kissen can serve as a collaboration and meeting table, touch down team table and a conference/tutorial table. Fixed and folding tops mean it can be used for transient spatial needs or permanent settings, with the omni fold feature allowing for rapid adaptability.
