Following on the success of the award-winning Alter; a range of elegant and minimal lounge chairs, benches and coffee tables, designer Scott Fitzsimons partners with Zenith to extend the range to metal framed stools, dining and lounge chairs.

The design aesthetic of Alter garnered accolades for its refined frame and soft, inviting surfaces. Emulating the comforting familiarity of the domestic environment but with commercial durability, Alter brought a harmonious equilibrium to the workplace lounge area.

The new ‘Alter Metal’ range continues this same design language and further extends it to dining and breakout areas. Without compromising on Alter’s original warmth and residential charm, the new metal frames offer a robust option for high volume areas. The formal Alter dining chair features a rounded steel frame complemented by a soft seat with Alter’s distinguishing flanged edge detail. The dining chair is available in two versions, with or without armrest.

As multi-purpose areas increasingly gain popularity in the hybrid workplace, the Alter stool offers the ideal solution for touchdown, breakout and informal meeting areas. At 650mm tall, the new metal framed Alter bar stool follows the same design formula as the extended collection. With a footrest for comfort and a reduced back foam seat, the Alter stool is an elegant option for a number of collaborative and social areas.

The Alter Metal lounge chair is a steel framed version of the original timber framed chair. Offering maximum comfort with a large cold cured foam seat, the steel framed lounge chair is set at the same relaxing angle as the  original.

The new extended Alter range offers steel framed options for dining, lounging, or informal meetings that follow the same design language as the original. This extended collection effortlessly caters to the evolving needs of modern, multipurpose workspaces, ensuring comfort and style in every setting.
