A core value of Zenith is to support the long-term health, wellbeing and ambitions of our local communities. That’s why Zenith were delighted to have partnered with Melbourne Not for Profit, Bayside Glen Eira Kingston Local Learning & Employment Network (BGKLLEN) to participate in Gen Industry Manufacturing 2024.
Gen Industry Manufacturing is an initiative conceptualised and developed by BGKLLEN aimed at connecting young school leavers with local thriving manufacturing industries.
Zenith were delighted to host a range of schools including Sandringham College, St Francis Xavier College and St Bedes College throughout March and April. Brighton College will attend Zenith Melbourne in July.
The students met with designers, engineers administrators and tradespeople to discover what their roles entailed and gain a greater understanding of the furniture manufacturing industry and the diverse range of opportunities it holds.
We were delighted to be involved in Gen Industry Manufacturing and we hope we have shown what an exciting industry we are a part of!
Thank you to the schools, BGKLLEN and of course all the students who came along!
