Last Thursday, 18^th July, Zenith Adelaide proudly hosted ADR (Australian Design Review) and the Design community for the announcement of the IDEA Awards 2024 shortlist.

The Interior Design Excellence Awards (IDEA) is Australia’s largest and most successful independent design awards program. Launched by Inside magazine in 2003, the program celebrates the best of Australian interior and product design across 15 categories and six Special Awards.

Breaking with convention, the IDEA Awards shortlist evening convened a panel discussion to discuss the role that technology has, and will continue to have, in the design industry.

As a company, Zenith has been at the vanguard of incorporating technology into furniture solutions. Zenith’s own James Gilmore was part of the panel and shared how Zenith has been utilising AR and VR technology in design for several years.

The panel discussion was well received with many questions and thoughts being shared by the attendees on the impact of technology on design.

Zenith congratulate all of the shortlisted and thank everyone who attended for a thoroughly though provoking evening!
