An iconic not-for-profit Australian charity, recently required an upgrade to their offices in Sydney CBD. For over 100 years, this Australian charity has been dedicated to offering programs and services focused on alleviating hardship and providing social and development opportunities. To reinvigorate their premises the charity engaged Texture Collective for design, and Graphite Projects for project management and construction.

Essential to the charity’s needs were areas dedicated to easy collaboration and communication, not only with their colleagues, but also with their clients. Zenith were engaged to provide a suit of furnishings that were comfortable, durable and provided areas for clients to talk privately, or connect in a more social environment.

Combining elegance, functionality, and sustainability, the Jac range effortlessly fulfills the seating needs for a multitude of workspaces. Thoughtfully designed and robustly manufactured, the charity chose a selection of Jac stools and side chairs for their visual appeal and versatility within mixed-use spaces. Additionally, as part of Zenith’s sustainability commitment, with every Jac sold a tree is planted, making it an environmentally responsible choice.

For a versatile, multi-functional table, the client opted for the inimitable Kissen. With a charming distinctive leg profile, Zenith’s Kissen has proven a popular choice for the collaborative office. Designed with the physical and functional requirements of today’s varied office work modes in mind, the Zenith design team created the Kissen table to foster connection. Whether collaborative group work or social connection, this is a table created for interaction.

The Precinct range by Zenith Design Studio is a collection of flexible and versatile structures that offer spatial fluidity for individual and group needs. Precinct can be combined to create ‘spaces within spaces’ for dedicated tasks, focused work or collaboration. Precinct Focus was chosen by the client as it offers  a private seating haven. Its high screens hug the lounge and create a private nook for quiet conversations, calls or individualised work.

Through carefully chosen products, this iconic Australian charity’s office embodies both aesthetic appeal and functionality. This transformation not only enhances the workspace but also supports this enduring charity in their mission of providing support, connection and opportunity for their clients.
